Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I fill out a PDF that isn't a form?
- Yes — that is exactly what this tool is for. Most paperwork is "flat" PDFs without real form fields. The tool automatically detects writing lines, dotted lines, checkboxes and character boxes, and you can always click anywhere on the page to add text, dates, crosses or a signature yourself.
- Does my PDF get converted into a form?
- No. Your entries are burned into the document as regular page content. The result is still a flat PDF that looks identical in every viewer and in print — exactly as if you had filled it out by hand, just neater.
- Can I sign the PDF?
- Yes. Draw your signature with your mouse or finger (on phone/tablet) and place it on the signature line. Note that this is a visual signature — not a cryptographic digital signature. For most everyday paperwork (memberships, consents, rental agreements) a drawn signature is what the recipient expects.
- Is my data safe?
- Yes. Your file is processed on European servers and deleted automatically shortly after processing. The values you enter — names, ID numbers, signatures — are never stored in logs or databases.
- Which field types are detected automatically?
- Writing lines, dotted lines and underscore runs, checkboxes, character/number comb boxes (one box per character), larger comment boxes, plus date and signature lines. Labels are recognized in both Danish and English, so a field knows whether it expects a date, a phone number or a signature.
- Does it work on scanned documents?
- Partially. Automatic field detection needs a digital PDF with real text and lines. On a scanned document you can still use click-to-place to put text, checkmarks and your signature exactly where you want them.
- How do I fill in a PDF without printing it?
- Upload the PDF, click the fields and type directly — or add text boxes wherever you like. Download the filled-in PDF afterwards. No printing, scanning or installation needed.
